Oba Femi Defeats Otis in Open Challenge on Raw, Continues Undefeated Streak
On May 4, 2026, Oba Femi once again proved why he’s one of the most imposing forces on _Monday Night Raw_, defeating Otis in a dominant open challenge victory and extending his winning streak since joining the main roster.
The former NXT North American Champion issued the challenge early in the broadcast, calling out anyone in the locker room willing to test his strength. Otis, of Alpha Academy, answered and immediately used his size advantage to control the opening minutes with a series of body slams and a running senton.
Femi absorbed the early punishment but quickly turned the tide with his combination of power and agility. After countering Otis’s caterpillar elbow, Femi hit a thunderous powerbomb into a fallaway slam, then sealed the win with his signature _Pop Drop_ for the three-count.
The match lasted just over four minutes and followed the same formula WWE has used to establish Femi as a credible powerhouse: short, decisive, and physical.
Since arriving on Raw in late 2025, Femi has remained largely undefeated in one-on-one competition. The open challenge format has allowed WWE to showcase his dominance without locking him into a long-term feud, while also giving midcard talent a platform to step up.
“Oba Femi is setting a new standard for strength on this roster,” Raw commentator Michael Cole said during the broadcast. “And right now, no one has an answer for him.”
With Otis added to the list of defeated opponents that already includes members of Alpha Academy, attention now turns to who will answer Femi’s challenge next. Speculation is growing that WWE may pit him against Chad Gable in a battle of strength versus technical wrestling or escalate him toward a program with Bron Breakker.
Femi also continues to hold the NXT North American Championship, raising the possibility of further crossover appearances between Raw and NXT in the coming weeks.
Oba Femi is not here to compete. He’s here to dominate, and Raw hasn’t found anyone who can stop him yet.
