Simi & Adekunle Gold Celebrate Double Joy as Twin Birth Sparks Massive Reactions

Nigerian musician Simi, wife to Adekunle Gold, gave birth to their second and third children, giving fans a reason to celebrate as they announced the emergence of their twin children, marking a new chapter in their growing family.

The couple who married in Jan. 2019, already parents to daughter Adejare Deja Kosoko, born in 2020, over the years, Simi and Adekunle Gold have maintained a relatively private but admired relationship, their bond growing more with both artists collaborating on several songs.

In a post made by Simi on her Instagram page on Wednesday, Simi revealed that the babies were born on March 10, 2026.

The wife shared the news via Instagram, with touching maternity photos to imbue the followers.

She wrote, “+1, 3.10.26, God bless my little family #mommyof2."

After which her husband, Adekunle Gold, also shared the news of their "double blessing" through his music video "For My Love Is the Same." Relatively, Adekunle Gold posted the news on Snapchat in January 2026, asking God for another child. This gives a signal to his fans, and now he is blessed with double.

Although the singer did not disclose further details about the babies, including the name and gender, their announcement has been met with congratulatory messages online.
