“NOT ON MY WATCH”: Burna Boy's mother, Bose Ogulu, holds prayer session after his viral outburst.

Bose Ogulu, the mother and manager of Burna Boy, has reacted strongly following her son’s recent controversial outburst online.

This whole incident began during a livestream with singer Shallipopi, where Burna Boy used profane language while responding to allegations involving DJ Tunez. The claims were initially raised by Wizkid on X (formerly Twitter), accusing Burna Boy and members of his team of attacking the DJ at a Lagos nightclub after he allegedly refused to play their music.

While Burna Boy admitted to striking the DJ, he denied the claim that a group assault took place. In doing so, he made a controversial oath referencing his mother, saying that if he were lying, consequences should befall her.

Shortly after the livestream, a video surfaced online appearing to show Burna Boy’s associates kicking the DJ, which seemed to contradict his earlier statement.

In response to the seriousness of the oath and its spiritual implications, a separate video has since gone viral showing Bose Ogulu leading an intense prayer session alongside members of her team. The session was reportedly aimed at cancelling negative declarations and protecting against spiritual harm linked to her son’s words.
